Ingredients
For one serving
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/4 tsb ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground clove
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsb turmeric
- Optional fresh ginger 1cm
- 2 g matcha powder
- 30 ml hot (not boiling) water
- 200 ml of your favorite (plantbased) milk
- Maple syrup or brown sugar
Method

Warm the spices
Place all the spices, plus the optional fresh ginger, into a small saucepan. Gently heat over low heat until fragrant. -
Add sweetness and milk
Stir in your sweetener of choice (maple syrup or brown sugar) and a splash of milk.

For an iced version: only add about a quarter of the milk, then remove from the heat.

For a hot version: pour in the full amount of milk and continue to warm through.

Prepare the matcha

Whisk 2 g matcha with 30 ml hot (not boiling) water until smooth and frothy.

Assemble your latte

Iced latte: strain the spiced milk into a glass, top up with the remaining cold milk and ice, then pour in your matcha.

Hot latte: follow the same process, but serve directly without ice.
